For Every Season Ministries, Inc. was founded by me, Erica Baun, in 2020. My longstanding dream was to establish a ministry dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and grief support.

I've always had a deep interest in psychology, but I initially pursued an Associate Degree in Applied Science, majoring in Word Processing. I began my career as an administrative assistant and thoroughly enjoyed it (most of the time). However, I eventually felt called to return to school and earn a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, majoring in Counseling for Christian Ministry. Although I knew this path wouldn't lead to licensure, I believed my education would be pivotal in fulfilling my aspirations. 

With my degree in hand, I transitioned from an Administrative Clerk to a Program Facilitator in Religious Services at a private prison. It was during this role that I began to understand the widespread impact of grief, which extends beyond bereavement.

After leaving the prison, I briefly served as a Behavior Intervention Specialist at a Christian school, where I enjoyed fostering positive interactions with children. Despite finding this work rewarding, I sensed it didn't fully align with my deep passions and professional background.

Returning to an administrative role, this time at a funeral home, I took the opportunity to delve deeper into grief work, eventually becoming certified as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Unfortunately, there was little opportunity for me to use those skills in that role, to the extent that I had hoped.

Facing challenges in finding a position that resonated with my passions, I sought guidance and support from close friends, which led to the creation of For Every Season Ministries. With the unwavering support of family and friends, and with additional financial backing, For Every Season eventually gained recognition as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization.

After years dedicated to academic pursuits and client work, I felt drawn to the field of Life Coaching. Pursuing life coach training, I realized that coaching aligned perfectly with my inherent calling, passions, and skills. This realization marks the current phase of my journey.

On the personal side, I currently live in Boardman with my husband, Curtis. We enjoy watching hockey together and listening to live music. Above all, we cherish our time with our extended family, including Curtis' three children and our five grandchildren, as well as our siblings, cousins, and close friends who have become like family to us.
